چکیده
Pseudorotaxane formed by reacting beta-cyclodextrin bearing a phenylboronic acid residue with 1-heptyl-4-(4'-dimethylaminostyryl)pyridinium functioned as a novel fluorescent saccharide receptor having unique responses.

An amine/imine functionalized microporous MOF as a new fluorescent probe exhibiting selective sensing of Fe3+ and Al3+ over mixed metal ions
Nowadays metal-organic frameworks with multiple luminescent centers are very fascinating as multifunctional luminescent material because of their luminescence properties, which could be systematically tuned by deliberate use of organic ligands and metal ions. In this research, we explored a microporous mixed-ligand MOF for highly selective and sensitive detection of metal ions. A two-fold inter...

The formation of a pH-responsive fluorescent [5]pseudorotaxane by self-assembly of cationic water-soluble pillar[5]arenes and a tetraphenylethene derivative was reported.
متن کاملpH-Gated photoresponsive shuttling in a water-soluble pseudorotaxane.
A fluorescent bistable pseudorotaxane was devised and shown to display pH-gated photoresponsive ring shuttling. At pH > 7.5 shuttling does not take place after light stimulation while at pH ≈ 5 the macrocycle is quantitatively translocated.
متن کاملFibroblast growth factor receptor signalling is dictated by specific heparan sulphate saccharides
Signalling by fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) through FGF receptors (FGFRs) depends on the cell-surface polysaccharide heparan sulphate (HS) [1] [2]. HS has an ordered domain structure of highly diverse saccharide motifs that present unique displays of sulphate, carboxyl and hydroxyl groups [3]. These motifs interact with many proteins, particularly growth factors. HS binds both to FGFs [4] [5...
متن کاملThermal aggregation of egg white proteins as affected by saccharides
Thermal characteristics of egg white proteins (EWP) may differ in the presence of saccharides. Therefore, the influence of saccharides including carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC), pectin, sucrose and maltodextrin and heating time on physicochemical characteristics of EWP as a whole were studied. Investigation of Heat Coagulation Time (HCT), solubility, turbidity and protein secondary structure of h...
